If you are physically fit enough and have some experience on mountain trails, then this wonderful circular tour above Preddvor is right for you. As a starting point we will choose the parking lot at the end of the village of Mače and go first to Storžič (2132 m) after that we will descend and hike to Bašeljski vrh (1744 m). From here we will have another descent to Mačensko saddle and then further towards Mali Grintovec (1813 m m) and further towards Srednji vrh (1853 m). Next is Cjanovca peak, from which we continue to Javorov vrh and past Potoška mountain to the cottage on St. Jakob. From the hut we only have to descend along the ridge path to the parking lot.
