Košutica (also Ljubeljska Baba) is a panoramic mountain which is situated north from the western ridge of Košuta. From the top, on which there is an inscription box with a stamp, a beautiful view opens up on the main part of Karawanks. The most beautiful view is on the nearby Veliki vrh in Košuta ridge and its northern walls.

Season
We start at the parking lot at the Ljubelj concentration camp. We have two approaches here. We can choose a hunting trail that takes us to the border ridge or a forest road that leads past the Koroščica mountain pasture. At the saddle below the peak itself both paths merge. Here, only the last part of the climb awaits us, along the scenic border ridge path to the top. A much less crowded peak that rewards you with beautiful views far and wide.
