The Triglav Lodge at Kredarica (Slovene: Triglavski dom na Kredarici) (2,515 m) is the highest mountain hut in Slovenia and the highest meteorological station in the country. It stands on a small plateau just under the peak of Kredarica, an elevation in the ridge between Rjavina and Triglav. The lodge is open to visitors all year round. Most visitors come from the end of June to the end of September.

We start our tour in the Krma valley. The path first leads us through a dense forest and later onto the grassy plain called Vrtača. After about half an hour's walk we turn right at a less noticeable crossroad onto the path that leads us to the shepherd's hut Prgarca on the mountain pasture Zgornja Krma. We usually make a short stop here. After the stop we continue along the path past the trough with water, where we turn right onto the steeper path towards Kredarica. After a short leveling we start to climb the gravel path under the slopes of Vrh Snežna Konta towards the next junction (in winter conditions the path leads a little differently, namely through the area called Kalvarija). From the crossroad we have another half hour's walk and we will see our destination, Triglav Lodge at Kredarica. After a longer rest the descent follows the same route back to the valley. If you are interested in the tour, send an inquiry and we will arrange a date.
